STOPSKID presents anti-slip profiles in aluminium alloy, specially designed to improve adhesion on polished surfaces, marble, granite, etc. The StopSkid non-slip bands meet the regulations of the Technical Building Code. The company will present its latest developments at ARCHISTONE.
STOPSKID anti-skid profiles have been subjected to ramp testing (DIN 51130 test) to determine the critical slip angle, obtaining, according to the model, class R11 certification. The Technical Building Code, which establishes and regulates the rules to be followed in any building project, classifies as class R11 floors that are safe and suitable for use in any area of buildings.
In addition to this certification, due to the growing demand for STOPSKID profiles in the United States, especially in New York City, they have obtained certification for the US market according to the “Wet Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) in order Standard ANSI A137.1-2012, Section 9.6.1 BOT-3000 E” test.
